Privacy

This page says what is collected when you sign in, what it is used for, and what is never done with it. It is meant to be read in full.

What is collected

When you sign in with Google, we receive two things from your Google account: the email address on it and the name on it. That is everything we ask Google for and everything we keep. Your Google password is never sent to us and we cannot see it. Nothing else in your Google account is read.

Cookies

Signing in sets cookies. One keeps you signed in so you are not asked again on every page. The others exist only for the length of the sign-in itself, to make sure the sign-in that finishes is the one you started. None of them are used for advertising, and none of them follow you to other sites.

What it is used for

Your email address and name identify you to the portal you signed in to, so that the right person reaches the right account. They are not used for anything else.

What is never done with it

Your information is not sold. It is not rented, traded, or handed to advertisers or data brokers. It is not used to build a profile of you.

How long it is kept

Sign-in details are kept while your account is in use. When an account is closed they are removed, and you can ask for them to be removed sooner.

Asking about any of this
